Universal tested fixes to Punga Racers water slide as guest injuries piled up, court records say

Universal placed “profits over people” because it wouldn’t invest $782,500 to extend the water ride's run-out or $50,000 to rotate out different mats to slow down riders, an attorney said in a court filing unsealed Friday by the clerk’s office.
