Revamped Bright Futures bill still leaves students in limbo, critics say

A proposal that critics fear may jeopardize funding for Bright Futures scholarships by putting the Legislature in charge of setting award limits each year through the budgeting process won approval Tuesday from a Florida Senate subcommittee.
