Florida waives school testing rules, removes high-stakes consequences for promotion, graduation, grades

Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran issued an emergency order Friday that waives consequences for students who skip Florida exams this spring or take them but do poorly. It also waives A-to-F school grades except if a school "opts in."
