Volusia deputies end armed hospital standoff with former officer without incident

Authorities peacefully ended a nearly four-hour standoff with a 55-year-old former law enforcement officer armed with several guns who was experiencing a mental health crisis outside the AdventHealth DeLand hospital Tuesday afternoon.
