Tropical Depression Ida remains a flood threat; over 1 million without power and two deaths in Louisiana

Ida, which slammed the Gulf Coast as a Category 4 hurricane with 150 mph winds, weakened to a tropical depression Monday as it dumped heavy rainfall over Mississippi and continued to pose a threat of flash flooding, forecasters said in the 5 p.m. advisory.
