Florida unemployment checks may flow for 19 weeks in 2021; September jobless rate grows to 7.6%

Out-of-work Floridians will be able to collect unemployment checks for as many as 19 weeks in 2021, state officials said during a news conference Friday to discuss the unemployment rate hitting 7.6% in September.
